Jonathan's Cork is a longtime Tucson favorite featuring Buffalo, Ostrich, Fresh Fish, Seafood, Game Meats and Angus Beef with a Southwestern flair. Award-winning chef and owner Jonathan Landeen and his wife, Colette, welcome you to a casual, Southwestern setting accented with DeGrazia prints, Native American art and four beehive fireplaces. Jonathan's Cork has been a Tucson tradition since 1966 when it opened as the Cork and Cleaver, a chain of steak and seafood restaurants in the West. Bought in 1984 by a local businessman and renamed The Tucson Cork, it maintained a warm, welcoming atmosphere while offering its familiar fare. In 1994 my wife Colette and I became the new owners, and Jonathan's Cork was born. We offer many of the best-loved menu items from the past, as well as new creations influenced by my formal training in New Orleans. Our desserts are homemade by our award-winning pastry chef Peggy Forrest, and Joe Mullen, our manager has worked here at the "Cork" since 1978. We also offer off-premise catering and party planning for all types of events: lunches for parties of 20 or more and weddings for 500.
